All Cypher devices have successfully passed the full suite of security and performance tests required to receive Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification. These include the Compatibility Test Suite (CTS), as well as STS, VTS, and GTS — over 2.7 million test points in total.

Cypher phones receive software updates — including Android version upgrades and Google security patches — for up to 3 years after launch. Updates depend on each device’s hardware capability to support newer versions.
